Helena Bonham Carter Birthday Project (update)

Just an update on what’s happening:

I am going to set a deadline now for when people will need to tell me they want to be involved in the project. It’s going to be early because with the amount of people who want to be involved, it’s going to take a while to plan and organise everything.

If you want to take part in Helena’s birthday project this year, you need to let me know by the 7th of February.

Currently, I have compiled a list of every message, comment, like and reblog that the post has had. I have also made a list of everyone from twitter who wants to be involved (so if you are one of those people don’t worry!)

I have replied to every direct message so far and will start messaging those who have commented, to confirm that I have noted them down. For the people who have liked and reblogged the post, I will also be messaging you to check that you actually want to be involved and aren’t just showing some love.

If you have done one of these things and have not heard from me by the 7th of February, please message me so I don’t miss you out!

If this is your first time hearing about this, the original post is here for you to read briefly. If you want to be involved, then please contact me!

As far as planning goes, a few people have suggested some really good ideas and I’m just putting them all together at the moment, to see what could work and then I’ll contact everyone and see what you all think. It worked really well last time, so I’m hoping this year can be just as great!

Sorry that’s so long winded, I just wanted everything to be clear. Hopefully I’ve covered it all but any questions, you know where my inbox is.

Helena Bonham Carter hints at new Harry Potter scenes

Helena Bonham Carter has hinted she has been filming new scenes as her character Bellatrix Lestrange for a new mini Harry Potter movie.

The cast of the magical film franchise – which ended in 2011 with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part II – were rumoured to have reunited for a new ‘mini movie’ to be played at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park, and the actress has suggested she has indeed reprised her role as evil witch Bellatrix Lestrange.

Asked about her involvement in the project, she told BANG Showbiz: “I’m not sure what we’re allowed to say. I think we’ve been gagged!”

Helena Bonham Carter Birthday Project

Last year, I put together a scrapbook for Helena. She received it and loved it (there is a video of her saying this haha) and I’d like to do a similar project this year – probably not a scrapbook – but a project for her birthday this time.

In light of hearing that Helena may be taking a break from her career for a while to concentrate on her family, I decided it may be nice to make it an extra special project that’s even bigger and better than the last. As it’s just hypothetical at the moment, this is more to see who would be interested in being involved. From that, I can work out what kind of thing we could do. Yaaaaay.l

A few people have already asked me to do it and I am more than happy to; I’ve already started asking people on twitter and it looks like there would be a lot of people ready to take part. The earlier I know how many people are likely to be involved, the better. So please reblog this, reply, comment and message me to let me know if you’d like to be part of it too – the more the merrier!

Any ideas you have would be totally welcome too :)

When quizzed how she prepared for the role, the 46-year-old star earned laughs by joking that she ”got into prostitution”, before adding: ”Last year was great. I had books on prostitution on my kitchen table, and books on pick-pocketing, and books on entomology. I played an entomologist. I read up on prostitution. I didn’t do any field trips, though —Helena Bonham Carter on her work in The Lone Ranger
